Lagna is the important aspect in Vedic Astrology. One's nature, characteristics depends on Lagna's characteristics and qualities. If anybody prepare himself like the Lagna Qualities, then the life will be smooth, else it will be hard.

Upon estimating Lagna's Characterisitics, we have to analyse Lagnesh and the planets in Lagna and planets aspecting Lagna. We should be careful where Lagnesh and planets in Lagna are opposite to each other.

For example, for a Leo ascendant native, if Saturn is in Lagna and Lagnesh Sun goes to Aquarius, two opposite energies are fighting together in Lagna.
